Vegetarian taste at Veggie Delight
Diseases like gout and heart problems, could be minimised by abstaining from meats.
Veggie Delight, an all vegetarian restaurant in Blantyre, make all this easy with their mouth-watering dishes.
Established in September 2009, Veggie Delight, boasts of menus from Indian to Chinese cuisines. Also on offer is Masala tea whose ingredients have unique health benefits.
The foods are crafted with special ingredients, for example, tummeric powder, a natural antibiotic as well as garlic and ginger.
Dahi Puri, one of their starter dishes, is by far the most delectable food at the restaurant—no wonder they rate it their “number one”.
Noticing that most traditional Chinese dishes are dominated with meats, the restaurant blended some of the oriental foods with Indian to come up with menus like Manchow Soup and Vegetable Manchurian. These hybrid Chinese dishes take away the flat taste of vegetables and give it a meat-like taste and texture while at the same time enjoying the health benefits of being a vegetarian.
The restaurant has two eatery sections—the upper and ground floor. There is a waiting couch near the till to make it easier for those ordering a take away.
Veggie Delight has made it easy for vegetarians to enjoy appetising tastes.
